Well, hey howdy y’all! How the heck are ya?

I’m just relaxing after a semi-busy week. Had my PAP smear yesterday, which went fine. The doctor was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Then today I had a follow-up visit with my radiation oncologist at the City of Hope. Everything’s lookin’ good, she said, and she was way more supportive of my pathetic efforts to jog than Ol’ Doc at the other place was.

And I finally got my ever-so-long-delayed colonoscopy scheduled, for Wednesday, December 30th!

Plus, since Mr. 50by60 and I are planning a trip in mid-December,

I made reservations for our beloved cats (or as the birds in the neighborhood like to call them, Evil Incarnate) at the wonderful California Cat Center, where they haven’t stayed since — well, since before that fateful year 2020, I do believe!

While all this has been going on, though, both my parents have been in and out of the hospital more than once, so we’re hoping they’ll feel up to socializing when we get there.

So there you go, all up to date with the exciting moments of this, my one and only life (that I know of)! Oh wait, did I mention I had my car in the shop, again?

Well, I did, and it seems to be running okay (again, for now!) but let’s face it, once any car goes over 200,000 it’s just patch, patch, patch. So if you’re wondering what to get me for Christmas this year, I’m okay with a RAV 4 Hybrid or even a Prius.

Whatever! Meantime, hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving, in whatever venue or at whatever point in time you celebrate! See ya at some point in the not too distant future!

As usual you face everything with wit and grace! Good post, my dear 0. ❤
