Well, three weeks in a row of “same,” more or less, so you know what? At this point, I think I’ve found the magic solution to, if not LOSING weight, at least MAINTAINING the weight I’m at– which is, to make the blog post completely official:

And that’s not necessarily a bad thing, right? I mean, if the ultimate goal is to lose as much weight as possible without giving up the things I love–

then this may be pretty much it! But who knows? I’ve just recently started back into a regular gym routine, and I’m doing pretty good at counting the calories (although occasionally I fudge a bit, especially if someone offers me actual FUDGE, because, you know, FUDGE!!).

So I think I’m gonna give myself a little break here, and just pat myself on the back. “Good girl!” I’m saying, as I reach around and tap my shoulder blades.

And if you’re in a similar situation — your weight isn’t quite where you want it to be, but you’re doing pretty well, and living the life you want to live — feel free to do the same thing! I’m serious! Toss your phone, or tablet, or whatever device you’re reading this on*, down onto a padded surface (*maybe not your PC), and give yourself a big hug! You deserve it!

And with that, I’m going to give myself a break today and make this a SHORTER blog, so’s I can brew up my covfefe with real half & half. And maybe — just for today — REAL SUGAR!

Or maybe not! I don’t do that too often. Not because I have anything against sugar per se (or as some of the transcribers whose work I edit often write, “per say”), but because my teeth tend to get these big giant holes in them if I have too much of the good stuff.

And frankly, I can live without going to the dentist any more than I absolutely have to. Nothing against my dentist, personally! Just dentists in general. So I generally use the fake stuff, even though it probably rots other parts of my body! It’s not about getting fat from it, although I’m sure some people think that way.

Oh, and that reminds me of the late and VERY great Gilda Radner’s reaction to the (temporary) banning of an artificial sweetener, back in the late ’70s, so if I can find a good version of it to post here, enjoy!
