Good morning, everyone! Let’s get the weigh-in over with, shall we?
Whew, that’s a relief — a bit of a loss! My body still seems reluctant to settle for *either* the ’80s or the ’70s — teetering back and forth over the border for quite a while now!
Maybe I can keep it down with my newfound exercise regime — gardening! Yeah, I’ve learned how to operate our gas lawn mower, which with its balky pull-cord starter should provide a GREAT upper-body workout!
Not to mention all the cardio from going back and forth, all over both the front AND back yards!
Also, I’ve been pulling a LOTTA weeds — and let me tell you folks with lush, green lawns a little secret: pulling weeds is ADDICTIVE so you definitely don’t want to get rid of them! There’s nothing quite like the feeling of getting a really good grip on that thick clump of burlock and pulling it JUST RIGHT till you feel that long, slender taproot loosening from the soil beneath … mmm!
Sorry, what was I thinkin’? Anyway, it’s fun AND it’s exercise! So go find some weeds to pull in YOUR neighborhood today! Your neighbors will be thrilled!
